    • e-Governance Community of Practice (eGovCoP) was formally initiated by Dr. Piyush Gupta, Associate Vice President ,NISG on 10 January, 2014. e-Governance Community of Practice was initially launched in 5 cities – Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. Efforts are now underway to initiate 10 more city-centric chapters.
    • The eGovCoP Pune & Thiruvananthapuram Chapters were launched on 15 and 21 February, 2014, respectively.
    • The Orientation Training for recent recruits of the State e-Governance Mission Team (SeMT) is scheduled to be held during 10 to 15 March, 2014 in Bengaluru.

  • Our Participants' achievements
    • Mr.T.N. Munde, S.E. Water Resource Department , Government of Maharashtra after completion of CIO training (Feb 2012) was able to apply the training learning and turn the e-Governance project to a new direction and reach new heights within one year, and roll out the project across the state. The project was appreciated by the World Bank review team.
    • The CIO training helped Mr. Rajasekaran, DIG, NCRB win the Cambridge university's shield (Darwin prize) for future strategic leadership plan to curb automobile thefts in India.
    • After the completion of CIO training, Mr. Bhagwan K Ghadge Patil joined as Chief Operating Officer of CSC e-Governance Services India limited at DeitY, Electronics Niketan, New Delhi.
